Family Room
This family room had lots of furniture, a massive area rug,
minimal accessories and looked so completely disjointed that people felt
uncomfortable the minute they walked in the room. By creating a conversation
area around the family room's cozy fireplace, downsizing the area rug, taking
out unnecessary furniture, adding lamps and bright, fresh flowers and plants for
warmth, the living room now pulls you in and invites you to spend relaxing evenings
around the fireplace.

Bathroom
This bathroom looked cluttered and non-descript. By adding fresh flowers and plants,
a whispy lace valance, candles, plush towels, then changing the dated brass hardware to brushed
chrome, and paying special attention to selecting and placing appealing art and accessories, Amy
Bourland created a spa-like atmosphere in this bathroom.

Living Room
Before, the main focal point of this living room was all but lost amidst the various pieces
of furniture that did not work together or add any interest to the room. To stage the room and create
unity, a conversation area was created by pulling forward the beautiful area rug to tie it in with the
fireplace, the sofa moved forward as well, the cocktail table was switched with one that was more
interesting, two chairs were brought in from the dining room, and with a splash of fresh flowers,
this living room can command the attention it deserves. The windows were opened to allow for a beautiful
backgound and a windchime added to a nearby open porch to create a wonderfully tranquil indoor/outdoor feel.
